About this Position

SportSpired Games is looking for a Community Lead to build and lead our global community strategy for a next-generation AAA sports simulator. This is a highly visible role at the intersection of players, product, and marketing, where you will shape how millions of future players engage with our game and brand.

SportSpired Games is an international game studio developing next-generation sports simulators. Our team includes professionals with experience at Wargaming, MY·GAMES, The Walt Disney Company, Ubisoft, 343 Industries, Starbreeze, Sperasoft and EA Sports. We’re building an ambitious AAA title slated for release in 2028-2029.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the overall community strategy to drive player engagement, retention, and audience growth
  • Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing community team as the function scales
  • Establish and maintain a consistent tone of voice and communication standards across all community platforms
  • Plan and execute communication, community, and social media campaigns aligned with the company's marketing strategy, including game releases, updates, and live-ops activities
  • Serve as the voice of the player within the company by collecting, analyzing, and communicating community feedback and sentiment to development and operations teams
  • Develop and execute content strategies across social media, community platforms, livestreams, in-game events, contests, and creator collaborations
  • Lead key initiatives from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable results
  • Manage sensitive community situations and crisis communications with clarity, transparency, and professionalism
  • Define, monitor, and optimize community KPIs and performance metrics, using data to continuously improve strategy and execution
  • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Development, Marketing, LiveOps, and Customer Support teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Community Management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the gaming industry
  • Experience working on live-service or live-ops driven products
  • Proven track record of building teams, establishing processes, and scaling community operations
  • Strong experience with community management, moderation, and analytics tools
  • Hands-on experience managing communities across major platforms including Discord, X, Reddit, TikTok, Facebook, VK, Telegram, and others in global markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate player feedback into actionable insights for development teams, including technical topics
  • Deep understanding of gaming communities, player motivations, and community-driven growth
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Development teams
  • Practical experience managing crisis communications and high-visibility community issues
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
