About this Position
SportSpired Games is looking for a Marketing Director to lead the global marketing strategy for our next-generation AAA sports simulator.
This is a key leadership role responsible for defining product positioning, building the marketing organization, driving player acquisition, and growing brand awareness across global markets.
SportSpired Games is an international game studio developing next-generation sports simulators. Our team includes professionals with experience at Wargaming, MY.GAMES, Ubisoft, 343 Industries, Starbreeze, Sperasoft, and EA Sports. We are currently working on a large-scale AAA title planned for release in 2028–2029.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global marketing strategy for the company and its products
- Lead go-to-market planning for game launches, major updates, and live-service initiatives
- Own product positioning, messaging, and brand development
- Build and lead the marketing team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
- Manage integrated marketing campaigns across performance, influencer, PR, social, and partnership channels
- Drive audience growth, player acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, forecasts, and ROI frameworks
- Oversee market research, competitor analysis, and audience insights
- Collaborate closely with Product, Development, Community, Analytics, and Executive teams
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings
Requirements
- 5+ years of leadership experience in gaming marketing
- Proven track record launching and operating PC and/or Console games on global markets
- Experience building and managing high-performing marketing teams
- Strong expertise in brand marketing, performance marketing, influencer marketing, and go-to-market strategy
- Experience with Premium and/or Free-to-Play products
- Strong understanding of player acquisition, retention, monetization, and lifecycle marketing
- Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring campaign effectiveness
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of key gaming KPIs (CPA, LTV, ROI, retention, conversion, ARPU)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Professional English proficiency
