
We are looking for a Middle Gameplay Programmer to help develop the core gameplay systems of our next-generation sports simulator. In this role, you will work closely with designers, animators, and other engineers to implement gameplay mechanics, build robust gameplay frameworks, and ensure seamless integration between gameplay systems and other game features. SportSpired Games is an international game studio developing next-generation sports simulators. Our team includes professionals with experience at Wargaming, MY.GAMES, Ubisoft, 343 Industries, Starbreeze, Sperasoft, and EA Sports. We’re building an ambitious AAA title slated for release in 2028–2029.
Develop and maintain core gameplay mechanics using Unreal Engine.
Create and support APIs that enable the integration of animations, audio, UI, and other systems with core gameplay.
Collaborate closely with game designers to implement and refine gameplay features.
Optimize gameplay systems to ensure stability and high performance.
Develop and maintain automated tests for gameplay code.
Participate in gameplay discussions and contribute to the improvement of game systems and player experience.
3+ years of experience developing gameplay systems or game AI.
Experience working on multiplayer games with synchronous networking, such as competitive online games, shooters, or esports titles.
Strong proficiency in C++.
Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
Ability to understand, analyze, and work effectively with existing codebases.
Passion for video games and game development.
Experience with Unreal Engine is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
