About this Position
We are looking for an experienced Outsourcing Project Manager to build and manage outsourcing processes for our next-generation AAA sports simulator. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing effective collaboration with external studios and contractors, ensuring high-quality delivery, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget.
SportSpired Games is an international game studio developing next-generation sports simulators. Our team includes professionals with experience at Wargaming, MY·GAMES, The Walt Disney Company, Ubisoft, 343 Industries, Starbreeze, Sperasoft and EA Sports. We’re building an ambitious AAA title slated for release in 2028-2029.
Responsibilities
- Build and develop outsourcing processes from scratch
- Search for outsourcing partners and contractors, and create and maintain a contractor database
- Manage the full outsourcing lifecycle, from initial contact and negotiations on pricing to delivery and final results
- Establish and maintain effective communication with outsourcing studios, external teams, and individual contractors
- Ensure project deadlines are met, required quality standards are achieved, and allocated budgets are respected
- Define and communicate goals and priorities to external teams, ensuring alignment with internal development plans
- Build and maintain documentation and document flow processes related to outsourcing
- Maintain and improve infrastructure for continuous outsourcing operations
- Participate in planning and balancing outsourcing workloads
- Create, assign, and track tasks for outsourcing teams
- Organize effective collaboration between in-house teams and outsourced teams
- Collect feedback, analyze results, and continuously improve outsourcing workflows
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the gaming industry as a Project Manager or Outsourcing Manager
- Participation in at least one shipped project in a Project Manager or Outsourcing Manager role
- Experience in development strategy creation, production planning, and production management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience creating and maintaining art-related documentation
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a strong results-oriented mindset
- Experience working with multidisciplinary and distributed teams, including in-house and outsourced teams
- Proven ability to manage teams of 10 or more people
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate teams, set clear goals, and effectively delegate tasks
