
SportSpired Games is looking for a Senior Gameplay Programmer to help build the core gameplay experience of our next-generation sports simulator. This role focuses on developing multiplayer gameplay systems, implementing core mechanics, and ensuring the game delivers a responsive, scalable, and high-performance experience. SportSpired Games is an international game studio developing next-generation sports simulators. Our team includes professionals with experience at Wargaming, MY.GAMES, Ubisoft, 343 Industries, Starbreeze, Sperasoft, and EA Sports. We’re building an ambitious AAA title slated for release in 2028–2029.
Design and develop core gameplay mechanics using Unreal Engine.
Analyze and implement game design documentation, while actively proposing improvements and technical solutions.
Collaborate closely with game designers to create engaging gameplay experiences.
Optimize gameplay systems to ensure high performance and scalability.
Develop and maintain automated tests for gameplay code.
Regularly participate in playtests, identify issues, and contribute to gameplay improvements.
Conduct code reviews and help maintain high engineering standards.
Mentor and support other programmers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Participate in technical interviews and contribute to team growth and hiring processes.
5+ years of experience developing gameplay systems or game AI.
Experience working on multiplayer games with synchronous networking, such as competitive online games, shooters, or esports titles.
Strong proficiency in C++.
Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
Ability to quickly understand, analyze, and work with existing codebases.
Experience writing efficient and scalable code, including performance optimization and complexity analysis.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Unreal Engine.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
