We are looking for a Senior Technical Artist to join our core team and help us push the visual and interactive quality of our upcoming title on Unreal Engine 5.

SportSpired Games is an international game studio developing next-generation sports simulators. Our team includes professionals with experience at Wargaming, The Walt Disney Company, Ubisoft, 343 Industries, Starbreeze, Sperasoft, MY·GAMES and EA Sports. We are working on an ambitious AAA title scheduled for release in 2028–2029.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain content production pipelines and material systems in UE5
- Ensure content quality and maintain a clean, scalable content architecture
- Design and implement interactive gameplay elements and real-time feedback systems
- Collaborate with artists, VFX, and engineers to deliver technically sound and visually impactful solutions
- Create and optimize shaders, visual dynamics, and tools for efficient art production
- Provide technical support on game content: VFX, lighting, materials, cutscenes, UI, profiling, optimization, etc.
- Ensure seamless integration of assets and maintain cross-team alignment
- Analyze feedback and data to continuously improve quality and performance
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Technical Artist in the games industry
- Strong expertise with Unreal Engine 5 and its rendering pipeline
- Deep knowledge of materials, lighting, FX, rigging, optimization, and runtime systems
- Proven experience writing advanced shaders and building material systems in UE5
- Proficiency with profiling tools and performance optimization workflows
- Solid skills in Blueprints and Editor Utility Blueprints
- Experience with Niagara (Particles and Simulation Stages) and volumetric effects
- Understanding of post-process materials and HLSL
- Strong scripting and tool creation skills to support artists
- Proficiency with 3D tools such as Maya, Blender, Houdini, or similar
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration mindset
